Operation Christmas Child
Sixty four (64) shoe boxes filled with goodies, toys, and necessary items were lovingly filled and collected to be delivered to Operation Christmas Child. The boxes designated for boy or girl will be delivered all over the world to disadvantaged and orphaned children. Some of these boxes will be the first gifts these children have ever received.
Thanksgiving Baskets Collected
Thanksgiving baskets were collected to be delivered to the United Methodist Neighborhood Center for distribution to needy families this Holiday.
Trunk or Treat
Approximately 100 kids from the church and neighborhood enjoyed trick or treating (mostly treats) and a few games and face painting. There were 14 trunks decorated for the occasion manned by people also dressed in Halloween attire.
Children's Sabbath
A total of 300 pairs of socks and 100 pair of children's underwear were collected on Children's Sabbath, and delivered to the REIP (Refugee Economic Independence Program) operated by United Methodist Neighborhood Center.
Computer Lab
Raleigh United Methodist Church has a computer lab with three computers up and running and connected to the internet. These computers will be used in the JOB RESOURCE SUPPORT MINISTRY to assist people in looking for job opportunities via the internet. The computers are also used for basic computer training skills.

Our YOUTH Group
Our Church Youth Group has been meeting each Sunday at 5:00 pm in
Fellowship Hall. Food is provided by Volunteers who sign up.
The sign up sheet is in the Hall near the Church Office.
The Youth Ministry is under the direction of Lauren Austin and Christina Green.
Our Church is deeply blessed to have this vibrant Youth Group !
