RUMC CHOIR
The Raleigh UMC Music Program is ably coordinated by Music Director Elaine Hotaling.
Sandra Davis, pianist and Liz Kulow, organist, provide beautiful preludes,, offertories and accompaniments each Sunday.
The volunteer choir sings a variety of new and traditional choral arrangements that support the theme for each worship event.
Congregational singing is a vital component of the music program.
"Acts of Praise" are contributed weekly by soloists, a quartet, the bell choir or the sanctuary choir. The Bell choir practices eight months of the year, utilizing a four octave bell collection. The sanctuary and bell choirs provide special music for the Advent, Christmas , Lenten and Easter services.
Choir practice is at 7:00 pm Wednesdays in the sanctuary.
Bell choir practices is at 6:25 pm Wednesdays from February through May and August through November.
